How close will BA notice dupe bookings?

I want to hold a return from DBV to LHR the day before we have flights booked SPU to LHR. Will this be flagged by the system? Would removing BAEC numbers help?

There's no risk, BA's IT isn't that sophisticated.

They don't notice. I once had two different US flights booked two different airports on the same day. Didn't know my meeting plans and left both open until very late.

You're safe with different routes.

Moreover, it's not even a "duplicate booking" by any reasonable definition. More than one FTer would fly DBV-LHR-SPU-LHR over two days if it made sense for TP earning purposes.
