Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay ?
Yes, it was a superb stay!

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest advance rate with breakfast, and was upgraded to a superb Prestige Suite.

How are the rooms?
Around 110sqm
Large dining room with seating area. Very elegant design.
Separate toilets.
Bedroom with comfortable bed (but which is strangely the addition of two single beds)
Superb panoramic view over the Vieux Port (old harbour) and the city.
Great bathroom with Boffi sink, large elegant bathtub, separate rainforest shower (I loved it)/toilets.
Very nice Clarins Eau Dynamisante amenities
Flatscreen television with large selection of French and international channels.
Malango Coffee machine (not so easy to use)
Very quiet
Fast wifi

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good
- Superb upgrade
- Perfect location,
- Very nice historical building
- Very friendly staff
- Pleasant indoor pool and spa.
- Fast wifi
- Not cheap but very good gastronomic restaurant (inventive provencal cuisine, excellent desserts, friendly and professional service). There is unfortunately a terrace only for the brasserie.
- Very good breakfast (service is now smooth and fast)

Bad
Nothing

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes, definitely.
We really had a great stay.
