Once again reported that all links with sign up bonus are dead. Reported on Dec 5, and again on Dec 10.

Reported on Nov 4, 2017 that no offers for a Prestige card with any sign up bonus at all exist anymore. The links below do not work. Even if you get to a landing page, the link to the app page will list either "page not found", or "system error". You might want to check back at some point, since the sign up bonus for the Premier disappeared for a while, and is now back (although for only 30K instead of 50K).

Prestige Cards have a $450 annual fee, not waived first year.
There is also an additional fee for each additional user.

Top Prestige Card Offers
1) 75k Bonus Landing Page after $7,500 spend in 3 months. $450 fee Not Waived first year

2) 50k Bonus Landing Page/rightclick/incognito mode after $5000 spend in 3 months, $450 fee Not Waived first year; This offer will only show in incognito mode, it has to be a new session, as the offer, app link won't load otherwise.

3) 40K Bonus 4k in 4months

Other, not so good, offer:
Application page for Citi Prestige MC offer for 40K miles after $4000 spend in 3 months $450 fee Not Waived first year, No landing Page for this link.

There is also a targeted 100,000 point offer, reported HERE.

Except for the fact that that post-December 4 spend won't officially count until the closing of the next statement, which will be in the following year.
It's when the statement closes is what counts. In other words, any airline credit-spend after the closing of your December statement, whether that's the 1st or the 31st, will apply to 2016.

Getting some conflicting information on the AF refund for Citi Prestige.

On this thread, I was told I had to cancel within 37 days from AF posted to get it refunded.

Doctor of Credit says that if you don't cancel within 30 days, you will receive a pro-rated AF refund depending on when you cancel. http://www.doctorofcredit.com/annual...d-issuer/#Citi

So which is correct?

While checking some recent charges online I noticed that the thumbnail for my Prestige card has changed to look like this:

Could this thumbnail portend a fix to the card design, putting the chip and name back on the front and putting the mag stripe on the back where it belongs????

If you call and ask for the new design, they'll overnight it to you for free - I received mine on Monday (Prestige).

New to the forum, not sure if this has been discussed before.

I got my Citi Prestige approved about a month ago, My billing cycle closes in 3 days , however I still have $75 of airline purchases left to max out the $250 airline credit this yr. I tried to purchase the AA gift card but was rejected stating that since I live in NJ they wont let me buy any gift cards. Anyone else faced this issue?

This has been a long-standing limitation on AA gift cards. Not sure why, what funky laws/regs NJ has, but AA GC's are not available to NJ residents.

I called and asked a CSR. Citi CSRs are typically clueless, but she said if you cancel within 37 days it will be refunded in full. After 37 days, it is prorated, she said.

75000 with $5000 spend targeted offer

Should I get this? Is this a good value?

It came to my husband who doesn't like paying AF for credit card, so I held the mail for a while. It is expiring on 13th. I have about over $6000 spending coming in a few weeks. Is it really worth $450?? Everyone here is so wealthy. I believe I am wealthy, but I don't feel so because my husband does not like any kind of spending. I was going to apply without telling him. Am I bad? But, he has lots of trips and I am frustrated that he doesn't know any of these goodies everyone here is talking about!

We don't have any Citi thankyou points products.

We have CSP and Freedom and Amex EDP and PRG and I quite like the combo. I did not think about Citi.

I am collecting rewards and points for VA, HA and UA for ANA. I like Alaska, too, but that is about it. Live in West Coast and trips are to Tokyo, Hawaii and New England sometimes. I was never interested in Citi products because I am not interested in AA or Delta, or other US carriers.

If I pass up this opportunity, what other cards should I be looking at to apply?

It is so exciting!

Thanks for your input!

I only decided to apply for this card over the last few days. Is there any way for me to get the $250 this year and next? I guess I need to know how an airline purchase and credit and billing date intersect. If billing closes, say Dec 20, and I charge tix on Dec 18, am I good for the credit? Or should I just wait till after January to apply. I'd prefer to do it now.

Also, how is billing date determined in relation to app date? Can I request a later date/change in closing date? If so, what should I request? Thanks.

LostPanda, you should absolutely take that targeted offer.

Also, if you're flying to Tokyo, you should be accumulating Krisflyer miles as well to cash in for a Singapore Air Suite.

Outside of transfer to frequent flier programs, the best usage of those points is to redeem on AA travel, where they are worth 1.6 cents each, or $1200 for the total signup bonus. If you aren't interested in AA travel specifically, there may still be codeshare flights sold through AA that interest you. There's also the flat $250 air travel reimbursement to wipe out over half of the annual fee without any effort.

if you apply NOW and make a airline charge right when you get it (some airline gift cards work), you should be able to get the reimbursement in 2015 AND in 2016. That's $500 in the first couple of months. so it is well worth the $450 for at least the first year. Another benefit your partner might like is that you can get him access to airport lounges (card holders can bring in 2 guests with their priority select pass). its a win win. that isn't even mentioning the 75k points, which equate to at least $1200!

The Prestige's airline credits roll over in December, so if you want to double up ASAP, you need to get moving. My understanding is that airline charges need to appear on one's November statement (e.g., Nov. 20-Dec. 20), and then the airline credit resets on the December date (e.g., Dec. 21).

With her husband's permission, of course.
