I'm sure that's not what Gargoyle meant. I think Gargoyle meant if you place a 6 on top of a 9, with the two circles created, it can look like an 8 - and that's why it was a fun number.

I'd never heard that reference. I was thinking of a different one, wherein 88 is just another way of saying 69. (ate-e-ate)

And with that explaination, I'll probably be guilty of sending this thread to OMNI, where it will freeze the coast pounts.
