DM choice awards

I am currently PM for the first time. I got to pick one 2010 choice award and one 2011 choice award. If I were to make DM this year would I get to pick two DM choice awards for 2010 and two for 2011? If so I think it may be worth it for me to go for it this year (using promos of course).

Yes, but only for this year (assuming you continue qualifying each year). You would pick for this year since you earned that status for this year, as well as earning it for next year. If you requalify next year, you would pick once for 2012

This is great news. Now I just need to find 50k amex membership reward points.

Yeah, that (along with the RDMs I was getting flying) was what pushed me to go for it. I got an extra 50,000 miles, Gold status for the wife and $200 Tiffany card for her as well. Worked out pretty well!

I've been thinking about this myself.
I've been PM for several years. I've already re-qualified at that level. If I make DM this year, I will get the following, correct?
1 choice (PM 2011)
2 choices (DM 2010)
2 choices (DM 2011)

I just qualified for DM last week, having been PM all year and got an email to select my Choice Benefits for 2011. No mention of doing this for the 2010 year.

So I'm not sure I would agree with the prior comment that one would get choice benefits for both 2010 and 2011 when attaining DM during the year.

I take it back, sorry. The benefits choice screen has both.

- 2010 Diamond (Select two choices)
- 2011 Diamond (Select two choices)

I just qualified for Platinum for the first time as well. Where do I go to choose the choice benefit?

Thank you!

Whoa, that is good to know. I already used my Plat choice of a $200 cert, but I will qualify for Diamond before Christmas and I think I'll choose four more. Or can you only choose one of each choice?

Choices for both 2010 and 2011 should be in your choice benefits page.

[edit] I see you found them already.
