Just got conditional acceptance!

Email came in at 10:02 AM.

Applied: 5/20/13
Conditional Acceptance: 7/30/13 (71 days)
Interview: 8/10/13

There are plenty of interview slots at Detroit. I could have been interviewed tomorrow if I wanted to.

I went ahead and added my KTN to my FF accounts.

I applied for Nexus in late may and my status is still "pending review"! Does anyone have any idea why it has taken so long? Also is there a way to contact them and inquire about my application? I couldnt find any contact info on the website.

October 24th? Yikes. Try a land border, you can probably get an interview sooner.

Now that I have had my interview and approval, anyone know how long it takes to get the Approval Notification on GOES?

I live in Montreal and that the only place they have on the list is YUL.
I don't want to go drive 2 hour for Ottawa.

Where can I find the land border info?

Here is the listing of all the Nexus enrollment sites (both US and Canadian): http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/tr...xus_enroll.xml

Champlain, NY is less than an hour away.

In GOES, click on "Manage Interview", click "Reschedule Interview" and select the Champlain, NY site. It should give you the next available time and let you look at the schedule.

To answer my own question, I received the email notification about 2 hours after my interview.

Now to get my iris scans done.

None of the enrollment centers in the US offers an iris scan. Can I use the nexus card without an iris scan at the GE kiosks?

GE kiosks don't take the cards, only your passport.

The GE kiosks also use fingerprints for identification, so an iris scan is not required to use GE.
