1. After getting bumped by AA, I wandered over to T1 and decided to switch loyalties based on the architecture alone.
2. It's home. If I'm seriously delayed, etc., I can just get back on the train and go home.
FWIW, the Panda Express was party to an only-in-America scam: a politically connected but not terribly successful developer (of Arab descent) using a cancer-stricken African American businessman as a front to profit off of Brits' (apparent) desire for "real" Chinese food. See:
