I had both Briggs & Riley and Tumi.
The B&R has the great warranty, but it hasn't held up well for me. I've invoked the warranty once already and it's to the point where I'll need to do so again.
The Tumi is almost indestructible, it seems. And the balance of the Tumi briefcase I have on the handle of the Tumi luggage is outstanding. Better yet, I got the 22" rollaboard for free -- actually I burned Membership Rewards points for it.
