as i left san today after arriving on 501 ex-sfo (1:30pm we were late but i digress).....
as soon as i cleared the exit line, i did a 180 to take a look and there it was.
a big green sign on a 3 foot pole on the left side as you face the security line entrance for both ua and as elites
iirc, the elite line allows the following for ua*: g/s, first, bus, 1k, and iirc 1p, 2p & *g.
*i'll write it down exactly when i leave san on tuesday nite
