We´re at the Hilton arriving Friday 1350 hours from Santa Cruz. It´s just incredible that nobody for AeroSur speaks English and my Espańol has been in the toilet this week after 16 months. BBM says it is age catching up with me. I had to ask, rightż

re tango

just came across this and didnt realize there was a DO going on,,, despite being mentioned in Guacho100 post..

I quickly looked thru this thread and saw mention of tango and tango lessons and a mention of taxi dancers whatever... Please be aware that these are usually not very good dancers and the purpose is to accompany women ( mostly to the milongas)

Do not expect real or good tango...

IF you are interested and I can give any advice let me know... Only problem i see is communicating as we will be going to Iguazu friday night and returning sat..

BUt in general most of the milongas have free lessons before the milonga...
for example canning 1331 scalabrini ortiz,, on fri and sat night has great teachers and decent milonga but the milonga doesnt really start until 1am

Porteno bailarin 345 riobama sunday night around 9 is lesson ...
we probably will be there
Nino bien on thursday night but very crowded this week as a festival is going on ... I will avoid it... and go to el beso riobama 412?? corner corrientes. instead..

Monday's wine tasting? But of course. It is at 11am at Alex's shop. Look forward to seeing you there.

As for Monday dinner, it is a first come first serve in small groups. They don't do reservations but its a place that everyone should go to.

Currently in the AC in JFK awaiting the flight. I just spoke to Mike who is with MsEverywhere and a couple others. So they're on their way.

I do know many are looking for a store to buy plug adapters. Any good suggestions? I probably wont see this post until after I'm at the apartment tomorrow.

Safe flights to all and good night. See you tomorrow (finally)

Cool, we're definitely (me +1) in for the wine tasting on Monday. We'll leave dinner as a TBD at this point. Looking forward to it!

AA997 from DFW arrived late in EZE this morning, but loaded with FTers (and one potential recruit, who might show up at a meal or two).

Time for a nap, as soon as my room at Hotel Costa Rica is ready.

We had nine for dinner at Broccolino last night. Most everyone arrived on Argentine time. Really good time with everyone. The early dinner ended up ending about 2230. Three hours of conviviality and only 5 botellas de vino consumed.

Two more early arrivals have booked for the Grayline tour this afternoon thanks to the competent staff at the Libertador.

Thinking that I was still Starwood Gold, we were upgraded to the non renovated ¨Presidental Suite¨ 1907 for last night and tonight. It is ön Request¨for Sunday and Monday. What will they now offer know that I am Plat?

Local Number is (11) 6038 8290 if anyone cares. 30 pesos total cost including 20 pesos of call time. Buy it at Claro on Florida two blocks from Libertador.

I didn't know that it was possible to make FredMartens safe! How was this accomplished?

Am here. We also had delays on AA 955 but we're all here now. Both apartments we got are amazing.

Showering and off to Parada Norte.

See you all soon.

Saturday Lunch Cancellation

I must cancel out on Saturday lunch. I "Do" expect to make Saturday wine tasting and Saturday dinner.

My new phone is 11 3078 3884, which has lots of lucky 8's in it. The SIM card was 20 pesos (10 peso call credit) at a Personal store in Palermo.
