Not sure if it has to do with the strike, but yesterday's AF26 (CDG-IAD) was over by 31 people & I got bumped to today's flight - 800 EUR voucher or 600 EUR credit on the CC - I took the voucher. Planning on trying to get bumped again, though I'm not sure it'll be okay with my office. They said that a lot more people were flying yesterday b/c of today's strike.

Overall, DGAC expects that about 30% of scheduled flights have been cancelled. Hardly a "Black Tuesday"

I am delayed 5 hours into Paris, no meal vouchers, no nothing, because air france claims the delay isn't their fault. This makes me feel like I am flying Ryan Air all over again. They wouldn't rebook me on a different airline either.

We flew CDG to DXB yesterday afternoon. Flight was overbooked in business, so we were bumped out of our bulkhead seats. At check in they told us that they had to take the first four rows of economy to accomodate those business class people who were "declassed". I suspect it was because people moved up their flights because of the strikes today.

One hour late this morning, empty flight - no big deal.
What was really annoying was listening to the Pilot prior to departure talking to friends of his (in the seats in front of me) - saying that his daughter would be demonstrating today - and that he was PROUD of her!!!
