Based on what I have read here, WGS doesn't do upgrades to suites for Plat members as often as SGS does. But I guess being a very very frequent guest can take care of that!

Now that I am SPG plat, I am "letting" go of my promotion-less HH Diamond.

I will report on my experiences with WGS and SGS soon!

My upgrade record at the WGS is 100% for a suite!

70% at the SGS.

Every time I stay at the WGS, I also stay at the SGS the next day.

I went from Plat to Gold to Plat again and stayed many times at this property and always got upgraded to a suite at the WGS if it was available. I think only one time and I believe there really wasnt one available. I have never even had to ask for an upgrade there.

Will be at WGS in 2 weeks and noticed this on my confirmation...
Executive Club, Heavenly Bed, High-speed Internet, Non-smoking, Continental Brkfst, Large 42sqm Contemporary Room With Executive Lounge Benefits Incl Breakfast At Lounge Or The Med,evening Cocktails&canape
Does anyone know what the breakfast at the Med entails? Better than the lounge? Any input is appreciated.

Happy to beable to answer one for you. Having been there almost any food in any outlet would be better than the Lounge. I hope a option is available for people who have access to the Lounge.

And I will answer the other one for you. I have not been to this property but I manage to retrieve some details. It is an international breakfast buffet which means you get Thai food, Japanese food and many others. There is an egg station as well.

Is it good? I let other members answer that.

Just was there a couple of months ago.

Its not bad. It is standard breakfast fare.
It has a small Japanese section with miso soup and japanese rice porridge.

A egg station, salad station, bread station (which has great donuts), cereal station, fruit station.

Standard western breakfast buffet with different kinds of bacon (the english bacon was a first for me and it was pretty good)

Their Chinese section was pretty awful but my wife and I loved the juicer section. Fresh fruit juice and fresh veg juice.

Overall, it was convienent and not bad. Nothing special to write home about.

As a previous poster mentioned, lots of other choices on the street if you are brave.
