For me it's very unlikely that they will be able to fill a daily (!) A350 rotation to LPA.

I am surprised that route has the A350 but the schedule says so!

I find it reasonable to believe AY may have an agreement in place with tour operators who have bought a bunch of the seats before launching such a route. I know SAS routinely does this, which was a major reason for the relaunch of CPH-BKK. That said, daily 300-ish seat flights does seems like a lot.

They even have an in-house tour operator selling package holidays using these flights:

This winter they were flying daily A321 with 209 seats so it’s not even that big of an addition of seats.

Indeed. From -20C to +20C in 6 hours will be very welcome!

Comfortable seat and good if you want to visit the Canary Islands but not great value per BA TP. 769/280 = €2.75/TP unfortunately adding sectors within Finland doesn’t improve the value because the domestic flights don’t have business class and they push the price up a lot.

Best efficiency at a similar price is ARN to LIS or AGP via HEL / painful of course, / But for the price and comfort of the current deal, I'm okay with it.

I think if you are super flexible with everything: dates, routes, airlines, origins, etc., the gold standard will be around 1GBP per TP?
But if one has specific needs in mind, that can be difficult to achieve.

Nice to see the AY widebodies back at LPA. Always a treat to see the MD11’s parked up.
