Wow. Looks like 2 flights (morning and lunchtime) from the few random dates I checked. Nice to have a Tier Credits-collecting option to LGW again.

The flights also connect with BA to CUN LAS MCO which is probably no coincidence.

A mate of mine in BA said those destinations were specifically mentioned. So they must want to funnel some traffic from DUB onto those. Im sure you will be able to connect to loads of places also

Good for some looking for connections but I won’t be spending near two hours on an ATR to London. Too many other options available.

BA LGW-DUB

BA are launching LGW-DUB, a few months after EI announced they’re dropping it. Flights 12x weekly operated by Emerald Airlines on an ATR. Bit of a surprise this one!

Didn’t Flybe give up on LGW and sell their slots a few years ago as the landing fee structure made operating anything smaller than a jet uneconomical? Pretty surprised to see this. If EI couldn’t make it work connecting into their hub, it’s hard to see how BA will without significant feed at either end (maybe some traffic into long haul?)
