My DOUBLE New Year TP points have posted!
Seems accurate…..not added to lifetime total and included in the ‘you need…’ calculation. A nice 1100+ to start me off. Obviously I’m an April 24 & 25 expiry.

This sounds like it might be the answer we have been waiting for regarding the 'double counting' TPs counting towards the GUF2 etc rewards. Can I just check what you are saying?
Your TP year ended 8 April 2024 and you earned 1100 TPs between 1 April and 8 April - these counted towards last year's status renewal and are also showing towards the new year's status renewal. Are they also showing on the progress thermometers to GUF2 and 2xGUF1?
If so this is very welcome news.

I’ve only lost 9 days I guess but ended up with healthy head start on next year.

Thanks for the report, very useful.
Does it say anything about progress to the GUF2? - EDIT: sorry, you have answered already.
And just for clarity it now says you need 1900TPs to retain GGL?
Also, were any of your TPs earned as bonus double TPs on a holiday booking?

No - all standard earnings - not BA Holidays.
(Although I did have a BAH double posted between 1-8th April, but as it was for a flight on 20th March and it didn’t feature).

The qualifying flights carried across for me.
And, as above:
- Tier points have counted towards GUF 1 / GUF 2
- Have not count towards lifetime tier points.
