KUL - SIN - SFO - DEN - MCI - DEN - NRT - KUL, Business, A*, US$1781
I have zero idea what's happening with the pricing - all I know is that I clicked a Google flights link to look at KUL - MCI at a much higher price and when I changed the currency, United adjusted the price down by about $2k. Departing KUL - MCI on 27 May, returning 16 Aug. (I combined all of the screenshots into one big picture. Sorry that it's ugly as!) I can't find it via the United website - just via Google flights then with a currency change. Would greatly appreciate anyone with mad skills playing with this to break it apart into separate sections with layovers, etc!

I'm still trying to figure out the exact steps. Every time I get something different. (I'm switching between browsers to make sure I can get connecting flights outside of this itinerary.) I'll post screenshots if it works this time!

<banging head on table> I don't understand this glitch. So I had the seats before, I had the price before, and then - gone. Now I can either see business class seats at the high fare or see economy at the low fare.

So - same thing happened to me as what the previous posters posted. As soon as I booked, it went to a different fare class and erased all of my seats. I'm sorry, everyone. (And also sorry for the hours I've spent trying to cross-reference flights.)

On a side note, you all managed to book this fare through Google Flights? You didn't have to re-create it on the United website first?
It always glitches out for me and I have to re-create it from the United website because Google Flights apparently shows unbookable combinations that, when coming from Google Flights, United only checks when you click to pay. Ends up being a lot more expensive for multi-sector itineraries.
