Oh, don't lock this thread...I want to be able to describe my horrible experience with Airlink so everyone avoids them (as if their misuse of this forum is not reason enough).

I made an online reservation (which requires it to be prepaid) for LGA-Manhattan. I know they had the reservation because my flights changed, and I called them that afternoon and, after they pulled up the reservation, was told it didn't matter - just call them when I landed.

So I call when I land, and they tell me they don't have my reservation. And not only do they not have my reservation, they have no vehicle at LGA and the guy wouldn't guarantee that I could get my money back. I hung up, got more and more pissed off as I thought about what to do (I had skis that wouldn't fit in a cab), called them back and demanded he send a van. He found one at JFK and sent it.

The whole experience was unnecessarily frustrating and reflects horrible customer service. I'll never use them again.

On the other hand, I had 2 pick-ups at home from Super Shuttle without any trouble.

Loran, I think your comments will do more to discourage future spam attempts than simply deleting the thread -- nice post.

Thanks for the heads-up, Loran. I definitely know which company NOT to use now!

Thanks Loran for the comments.

I know who not to call when I get to NYC later this month.
