I take the gamble on the RJ and go for the B seat in the exit row. For the chance that on an empty flight you get the extra leg room and no one next to you.
For a long time I was a 1A fan, but the more and more I get .....y male FAs I've given up on that seat. Plus, that seat you can't lift the armrest due to the tray table being at your side.

I like 1A because I get to hear stuff from the cockpit, and get to see stuff the whole time. The only time I fly ERJs is for 50min max CRP-IAH and IAH-CRP, so the armrest isn't a big deal for me.

Mine - 2D on a 767 (don't like the overhead night light in 3D).

As i'm just Northwest scum, I don't get First Class, and check in early online to score the exit seats...14A on the 735 is quite nice!

To me, the best seat on CO, BY FAR, is that BF seat that you sink into when you are lucky enough to get an Op-Up. There is nothing more exhilirating than being freed from the squalor of coach on a long international flight.
Beat that!

1A is awesome in an ERJ -90% of the time, you get a Flight Attendant who has nothing to do, and you can have great Airline Industry chatter with them...

733/735 - 12C/D (actually any seat in that row is fine)
738 - 14C/D
Goes without saying that FC is a preference, and when up front I prefer 1st row window, 2nd or 3rd row aisle.
