Is the Z bucket for Westjet still the correct bucket?

I tried booking YYZ-YVR Dec 23-Jan 1. CRS shows plenty of availability for Z class, but I called and they said there isn't.

Should I call again??

I would assume it is still Z class although I'm staring at the e-tickets sent from AirMiles, and there is no mention anywhere of a fare class.
Is it possible that AirMiles only gets a certain portion of Z class tickets with the other ones being given to groups or consolidators ?
I'm not terribly surprised that AirMiles is saying they have nothing available considering the dates you're requesting (unfortunately).

It never hurts to call again but I wouldn't say they are the most flexible group out there...

My experience with booking WS flights through AIRMILES is that award seats will be available on flights showing only the lowest priced class availability on the regular WS website. Once these low fares are gone, AM will not buy them from its allocation of consolidator inventory. So I would not go by fare classes as shown on CRS.
