Car Service LAX to Santa Monica beach?

Can anyone suggest a reliable car service (ordinary sedan - no limo required) for two people from LAX to Santa Monica Beach? Thanks. Charli

Its really not that far. Are you sure you wouldn't want to cab it?
BLS is good, but not cheap, if you do want a car service.

I agree that cab is fine. Coming back you may want to try United Independent Taxi 310-643-8294 who I've used 20+ times without institute, but there may be some weird law about who can pick up within city limits - welcome to Santa Monica!

Are you staying at one of the hotels here? Since it is relatively close, most of the nicer properties (Casa Del Mar, Shutters, JW Marriott) will send their sedan (or one they use regularly) for about the same price as hiring your own if you really want a nicer ride - I have friends who do this often.

Even though I could get sedan service to/from LAX via work, I personally just take a cab to my house and use one of the local companies when heading to LAX (i.e. Santa Monica Express or Lotus) who all have $25 flat rate coupons you can print from there websites (normal rate to SM is about $30). The ride is 20 minutes tops (except heaviest traffic times). With sedan service, you'll spend an additional 5-10 minutes finding your driver and following them back to their car and getting out of LAX parking.
