Irony of Ironies

So I'm riding home from dinner on the Boston T last night, and a uniformed TSA screener is in the same car, reading Orwell's 1984.

Perhaps in every airport there is a room labeled, "Ministry of Love".

I'm sure it's required reading for advancement along the new TSA career path. It must be a prerequisite for promotion to FSD.

More like a re-certification requirement.

Don't you know it's against MTBA's regulations to take pictures without a photo permit?

(contrary to popular belief this was implemented before 911 but IMO should be repealed nonetheless)

The MTBA and the Ministry of Truth can go do something biologically obscene to each other.

I Love Big Brother, who is the war against this week?

Next time a FTer refuses to take their shoes off, to heck with the Metro cops, he's calling the Thought Police to correct that attitude permanently.

LOL!
A bit offtopic - visited Boston late in late may. I decided to get the permit (it wasn't a hassle. I decided to do it to avoid a hassle.) I was hassled by EVERY SINGLE T employee requesting me to show the darn thing even when I wasn't on T property. London was MUCH better.
