if the weather is nice, rent a car - drive to Canmore to visit the mountains.
or drive up to Drumheller to see the Royal Tyrrell Museum (dinosaur bones). It's less than an hour away from the airport.

Bring a good book, sit in a bar and wish for time to pass by quickly. I once spent what seemed like an eternity in Calgary on business when in fact it was only 2 days. We did take a quick trip out to Canmore which was fine but the city itself is somewhat bland.

Hi,
If you do not want to drive to Banff/Lake Louise you could;
(1) Visit the Glenbow Museum
(2) Go up the Calgary tower
(3) Visit the Devonian Gardens ( indoors)
(4) Vist the Eau Claire Market and walk along the Bow river
Regards
