My husband told me about this deal and I got hooked. Went to every supermarket I could find. Left with 100+ unentered.

- I think I can still get the cache version of the original form from google (and there's the one tarheel99 posted the link for).

- Landing Gear has the Emmi T&C's from before they pulled this garbage.

- rrgg has email about the offer being unlimited.
I have a recorded voice message from Emmi saying that an unlimited number of certificates can be redeemed for miles. The volume is really quiet, but it can be enhanced and is certainly audible. Add this to the evidence...

As martian stated, due to the fact that I will have wasted lots of money on this, this is the one time when I will fully support a lawsuit (if necessary). EmmiUSA has deceived so many people in so many ways. Please count me in any any group legal action.

About 15 minutes ago I got my son to help me open all the unopened cheese boxes that I spent about 3 hours finding at various Albertson's around town. We opened about 40--all while my family making sarcastic comments about me being a lunatic, and me retorting that I just may sell them on ebay and make $300 in a day, blah blah blah...

Then I turned on my computer for the first time today in order to enter the new codes and couldn't figure out why this thread had gone to so many pages from when I checked it at midnight last night. <sigh>

At this point, I do NOT plan to tell anyone around here about this fiasco!

I left a message on Emmi's voice mail demanding either a refund of my money or my miles. I know the likelihood of a reply is quite slim so my next plan of action is to send letters to both Emmi and AA. I was horrified about this earlier, but I'm feeling a little calmer now and feel strongly we will all eventually see our miles. To make matters worse, I had also sold some on ebay - of course the buyers are now saying they never got a chance to enter the codes - quite a disaster to say the least. Shouldn't have pushed my luck with eBay I guess (my husband says it serves me right for choosing $ over miles : ).

Ouch! Hang onto your certificates and store receipts, watch this space for developments, and donate any cheese you don't want to consume or give as gifts to a qualified charity (food pantry, homeless shelter, soup kitchen) and get a receipt from the charity so you can take it off on your 2006 federal tax return.

I bought many CASES and gave all the cheese to charity. Emmi will be hearing from me before the weekend is out.

It looks here aren't very many of us in this situation here. So, we are all going to expend quite a bit of effort sending emails to the media, and pressuring this company.

I still think we should come up with a good form letter to send out to all these contacts. Could someone a bit more eloquent than me draft an initial one, and then we can discuss how best to edit it?

Subject: RE: Emmi Promotion with American Airlines

Dear rrgg,

Thank you for contacting EMMI USA regarding our American Airlines Promotion. Since you are purchasing each product along with the individual code, there is no limit to the number of codes you can redeem.

Enjoy our cheese...

Sincerely,
Daniel Schnyder

Subject: Emmi Promotion with American Airlines

Hi,

I saw that Swiss Knight Fondue and Snack Wedges contain a code for bonus miles with American Airlines. Could you please tell me if there is a limit to the number of codes I can redeem?

Thank you!

Sincerely,
rrgg
.............

Would anyone like to write a sample complaint letter about this that we can all send out to all of these adresses? Lets let them have some full mailboxes on Monday morning so that they can have a long hard thought about what they are doing here.

122 cheese wheels purchased which netted 119 codes...all have been entered.

11/15 - 2 entered
11/17 - 39 entered
11/18 - 22 entered
11/20 - 56 entered

No miles have posted to my AA account. Makes me wonder if they even had the miles to give away!

Respectfully, a form letter is NOT the best way of doing things. You don't need to be Hemingway.

Just sit down at your computer and write to Emmi. Tell them how much cheese you purchased, how many coupons you got and how many miles you are supposed to get. Ask them to give you the miles.

Perhaps you would like to pose this question to the aa department that sells the miles. Their address was previously posted.
