Four Seasons Vegas

Does anyone have any recent stays/reviews/recommendations for here? I did a search and only pulled up a couple of threads from 2004 & 2005. I just booked for a couple weeks from now under the Amex Fine Hotels program with a really good rate of $245/night.

if youre looking at base rooms away from strip, it seems like a good choice..

skylofts ($600 + possible upgrade) and wynn salon suites (from $600) are the best publicly available rooms though.

Well, I usually stay at TheHotel so I am used to being on the edge of the strip, but, I have to be out in Cali for a business trip, so I planned on stopping at Vegas for a night or two, and I will be alone, so, I don't need a ultra huge suite or room.

I stayed there two weeks ago for a boxing event in Vegas. The rooms are modern, have flat screen LCD TVs and have a very nice barthroom. The lobby is one level down from the Casino (m-bay). There is a privite evavator on the casino floor that takes you up to the four seasons floors. If you get a chance go to the spa. It is one of the better spas in the city.

Hope this helps

FS = an on-strip hotel. the only one...a good niche to have, but do not expect a high level of casino and resort amenities. Many people like that.
RC = a hotel/resort off strip. Not a gambling mecca by any means.
Wynn and all others = Casinos with hotels that are there to keep people close to their casinos...do not expect good hotel services.

The JW Marriott is also a great resort. They have a lot of suites so if you are gold or plat with Marriott chances are they will upgrade you. The service is also comparble to the FS or RC.

Ah, that was the trick, searching for FS Vegas instead of Four Seasons

Thanks!

You might want to consider one of the FS hotel packages sold on their own website, rather than booking through AMEX.
Between now and the end of the year, FS has their usual packages that start at $250 a night, but you get at least a $50 credit per day towards food, spa, etc.
If you have children, I would book the Family package, again starting at $250 per room per night, but includes the $50 credit per day, free tix to Shark Reef, in room movie, etc.
We've stayed at FS Vegas about 10 times in the last couple years and think it is a great value with their packages.
