Not sure that this is the best ad placement...the security checkpoints are probably the least cherished part of the travel experience...would you want your brand identity associated with Shoe Carnival, SSSS, holier-than-thou TSA workers, and general anxiety and discomfort?
That being said I think I did see them at LAX...for Rolex?

What do you think- coupons inside?
It could be like a placemat, that is removable. And if they really would like people (like us) to pay attention, have codes for free miles in the bins that we enter online elsewhere- like a lottery...for free... =]

Airline travelers are hit with so many ads it's numbing. On the baggage carousel. On the tray-tables. On the napkins along with the beverage service. The "award-winning in-flight magazine", with pages of ads and with articles pushing the airline's destinations. SkyMall. Even from the FAs. ("You will be earning valuable OnePass miles. Apply now for our AAdvantage credit card. We'll be coming through in a few minutes with duty-free items.") Half the offerings of IFE are "infomercials" of one sort or another- pushing someone's latest CD or an upcoming movie. (My favorite was a long wheeze on Tom Cruise's latest movie- I just saw the Spanish subtitles because I was listening to my CDs but the other actors were saying what a great guy he was and there were lots of shots of him in tight shirts. Clearly a PR move to clean up his image.)
The TSA wants to join the party? Let 'em. I can ignore them, too.

I doubt it, since the ads only allowed the purchase of 200 K of equipment in the trial; since LAX has such a large number of people running through it. If anything, the TSA may be able to employ newer technology, or more security lines.
