Yes...make a new reservation with the promo code and cancel the old. You also might be able to edit the current reservation but I prefer the first way. Just make sure the rate doesn't go up on the new reservation before you cancel the old.

This works fine if you are booking a new reservation
but if modifying an old one - you can't do it -- I tried to add it to 2 existing reservations - tried to rebook at same rate I already had.... no go. Price almost doubled and there is no way (at least that I can find) to add it to an existing without having to rebook which opens the door for a higher new rate.

Don't get too worked up over $1.25.
I've stayed @ 2 hamptons,( LA-Anaheim & Tucson) booked @ the hampton site, with the promo code entered, room points etc have all posted, and didn't get the 250 bonus points - has anyone got this to work yet?

Just as an FYI, I was able to use the code for an online booking of an award stay. This way, for my 7500 pts for an Opportunity property, I am getting back 250 pts for this bonus, 250 as my Diamond Amenity, and 250 pts, x 2 for choosing National as a car partner. I can deal with award rooms for 6500 points.
