Can I transfer miles to points from AA of my parents account
I had a question if I can transfer my mother's 15000 AA miles to my HHonors account? I know I have to pay the $25 transaction fee.

Your mother can convert her AA miles to HH points, and then transfer those HH points to you:
HHonors members can now transfer HHonors bonus points to other HHonors members that can be used towards hotel stays, airline tickets or any other Hilton HHonors reward.
HHonors points can be transferred to any other HHonors member in increments of 10,000 points, at a cost of $25.00 per 10,000 points. This rate applies to all points transferred up to 200,000. After 200,000 points have been transferred in one calendar year, all additional transfers are free of charge!

I never knew about this.
It may be helpful in the future.
OTOH, by the time the OP pays $25 for the AA>HH transfer and then pays $75 for the HH>HH transfer, I'm not so sure the 30K points are worth it, but that's a decision that the OP will have to make.

In my (recent) experience, there is no need for the name on the AA account and the name on the Hilton account to match. I have had points moved into my Hilton account by someone with a different last name at a different address than me. It worked just as smoothly as when I converted AA miles from my own account into my Hilton account.

Able to move from daughters accts to mine
I have also moved from daughters accts to mine with no problems. Just did last month. We have different last names as well.
