Interesting.

But what is "beyond DEN" you think? I mean, to me, so long as we have an onwards connection from DEN, that would qualify... so RFD-DEN-MIA should qualify.

Hope everyone enjoys... I'll be in ORD on Saturday, but not enough time to take advantage of this

So RFD to anywhere actually means:

any destination in the continental U.S. beyond Denver.

as it turns out.

But what is defined as "beyond DEN?" That's what's getting me.

They obviously didn't get an FT attorney to write the T&Cs on this one.

AFAIK, flight to DEN is only nonstop flight UA from RFD.
In othere words, Most people never gonna fly out of there(use ORD)
if they are going somewhere else than DEN.

and this small? airport wanna save UA by bringin more PAX.

so this is perfect condition for MRing.

Recipients of cash rebate may be subject to state and federal taxes and require the fulfillment/submission of an IRS Form W-9.

I forget - what's the value that's required to be reported? I think it's something like $600 or $700.

Wait a minute...

It says "This certificate cannot be redeemed for cash."
And " Maximum cash rebate amount per round-trip ticket: $1,000."

So the cash rebate can't be redeemed for cash?

No, the certificate can't be redeemed. The rebate can.

You're thinking too fast. Slow down!

If you get over $599 back you will be sent a 1099-Misc on this I'm assuming.

I'm confused. Do you have to fly out of RFD? It says no where on the TCs that I have to. From what I get, I could do MCO-DEN-COS-DEN-MCO. However, I don't wanna buy a ticket and get stuck with the bill. Or might I have to do RFD-DEN-(any airport ua flies)-DEN-RFD? What about international, like SYD?
