Touble with United Website [Merged Threads]

Good Morning,

Is anyone having trouble with accessing the United website? I tried both Mozilla and Explorer and get an error message. It does not even show the first page.

Thanks

ML

Same here as of 9:13 AM EDT.

I'd like to print my boarding pass for my IAD-DEN-SLC flight but Dot Bomb does not want to cooperate.

Well at least my upgrades were confirmed on both segments.^

Sorry to hear that you can't print your boarding passes, but at least you got your upgrades.

Thanks for responding, I was afraid it was my computer settings. I have never had this happen before.

It's working for me in both FF and IE7.

Try clearing your cache.

perhaps it's an ISP thing (again)

I can't connect from Virginia on Comcast. I seem to recall a period a year or more ago when some "enhancement" on Comcast pervented us from connecting because "united.com" wasn't handled correctly by the Comcast DNS servers. Regretably, I've misplaced the direct ip address which worked back then (by bypassing the DNS lookup).

So, is there any commonailty with ISPs and failures to connect this morning?

Of course, during the last problem Comcast blamed United! (without merit based on my understanding of the underlying problem).

Clearing the cache didn't help. Cannot find the website using IE7 or Firefox. Since last night. I use Comcast, too, so maybe that's the problem.

I am a Comcast user, so that could be a problem for me.

Often this is the result of DNS issues. Should be ok after a while.
