Thanks for the heads up. Just found out that I lost 15AB, 16AB on 744 IAD-SFO but was able to call and get the seats back.

Thanks also from me. 1.5 hours earlier CDG-IAD and seat left unchanged. Created an even longer connection but able to get UA to change to an earlier flight (IAD-JFK). Much much better for me ^

Did you try to do this on united.com first? You should be able to.

I don't think you can assign seats online if the sched change hasn't been confirmed on the phone.

I had a change as well on my NRT-SEA flight where I was in 9J - I called and kept the seat.

Thanks very much to the OP

You really would think there would be a confirm schedule change button, how many phone calls could that save...

Our seats stayed intact for what its worth on SYD-SFO and LAX-SYD..

Yes, thanks for the heads up. Apparently I will be going through NRT instead of NGO (SFO-TPE); will call Monday.

My April BOS-ORD-HKG flight shows 3 schedule changes, all minor.

I still keep the seats 15A though.

It seems that such minor schedule changes do not change seating assignments, am I correct?
