In-N-Out Without a Personal Car? Which one is closest to The Strip? How to get to?

A few years back we hiked it from the Strip via NYNY to the one on "4888 Dean Martin Dr. (formerly Industrial Rd.)" which is located just across the highway. There are a few stretches where there aren't any sidewalks so you are walking on the shoulder of the road or the grassy edge of the property. And you have to cross one or two on & off ramps. I don't think it's too dangerous but you do have to be careful. It's walkable but it wasn't a completely enjoyable walk.

Go to Las Vegas Blvd and Tropicana, take the above bus east to Maryland Parkway, walk north for about a block or two.

If you're at MGM or NYNY, you could conceivably hoof it across the I-15 overpass to the In-N-Out at I-15 and Tropicana. Probably 15 min. walk or so.

Post an In-N-Out Las Vegas DO here and in Community Buzz; maybe followed by a little low-stakes Black Jack/Craps/Bingo/Cocktail party at one of the fun "locals" casinos you might not get to otherwise; and see if some of the fun-loving Las Vegas FTers don't mind joining in your bit of burger heaven! They might even offer to pick you up and drop you off - for a burger or two!

For the less adventurous, there's a shuttle van between Mandalay Bay and the Courtyard South Las Vegas - which is on the "correct" side of I-15 at Russell Road, south of the In-N-Out.
Conceivably, you could shuttle from MB to the Courtyard; then hoof it a few blocks north to the In-N-Out; then gorge vociferously; then waddle back to the Courtyard; then take the shuttle back to MB.
I'm the adventurous sort so I'd be fine with hoofing it across Tropicana. You don't actually walk on the freeway you're walking on Tropicana. Speed limit is 45 on that road. If you actually look before crossing the exit ramps, you'll probably make it.

i'm about 75% sure that from NYNY you cross Trop.to Excalibur where there is a sidewalk about 30 40 feet off from Trop. then only cross one street (an on ramp to I15 )to a sidewalk that would take you to the corner then cross Trop. to a great place IN-N-OUT . if you were on the NYNY side of Trop. you would be without a sidewalk. if i am wrong Sue me .i think it was about $12 round trip from NYNY by taxi eat there . during lunch/dinner hours the is a flow of taxis to grab one with out a wait. walk there and taxi back .
will be there 9/13-9/16 with a couple of double double with my name on them

I have split off a number of posts that were not on-topic for this thread into their own thread in Dining Buzz

The sidewalk runs along the south side of Tropicana.
Walking from the Marriot to InN Out is much more dangerous than walking from NYNY/Excalibur given the number of drug dealers/pimps you're likely to encounter.
A lot of them live in the American Motel just South of Tropicana on Dean Martin.
