I doubt it. For some reason this seems to be a problem only SAS is having with the Q400.

According to Dagens Nyheter, Skandinaviska Tillsynskontoret (the joint Scandinavian aviation authority) has withdrawn the operation license for all SAS Q400:s, effective immediately.

SAS was the launch customer for the 400 series and the problem is corrosion. So climate and time naturally leads to the first problems merging with SAS's aircraft. ANA reported finding the same problems and there was an incident a month ago with Augsburg Airways.

Pretty amazing video, you can see exactly when the pilot turns off the right engine. Also it looks like the right landing gear is not extracted at all? The previous incidents had extracted gear but lock problem, yeah?

Must agree - the landing really good and the motor was shut down perfctly. looks better than the normal landings with the Q400.... And this is really to bad that this will impact SAS again. It will impact on all us FT's travelling intra EU with SAS.

Despite that, would you (or any other at this forum) be flying any Dash-400 flight after this third or fourth, similar incident? There were no casualties, luckily, but what has been reported, someone did get hurt. At what point can a plane type loose its certifications?

NO I would NOT fly that type. This must be a warning of things to come as SAS was the launch customer for this aircraft type. And amazingly bombardier does not make any recommendations to ground the aircraft: www.bombardier.com.
Pretty irresponsible if you ask me.
