Angry CO Mastercard 5% discount not working?

I have had this card for 3-4 months and used it for the 5% discount several times. Now when I sign in and put the code on the reservation sheet, nothing happens. I call the Electronic Support desk, and got this very unhelpful woman who refused to listen to the problem and did nothing to fix it. I have a ton of reservations I need to make.

Anybody else having this problem?

I get it to pop up on some B-fare international reservations but a Q or V fare domestic wasn't eligible interestingly enough.

I hope this is not a new enhancement and just a short-term website bug.

I purchased a ticket today, when I tried to use onepass code
it would not work also. I will try later and see if the bug is fixed.

Hi Hog Heaven, thanks for posting this. We have done some testing and we were able to re-create an example of where we're not offering the 5% discount when we should. We are working to get this resolved, and I'll post an update as soon as I have one.

I'm sorry we weren't more accommodating when you called our electronic support desk. Please try contacting us again at 800-300-1547.

As long as you're checking on ONEPASS 5% issues, can you please investigate the following?

Whenever I fly on a rez I booked using the 5% code (for which I had to be logged in under my Onepass number), I get skipped over the EUA despite being a NWA Plat.

This has happened to me three times, and I am convinced that for whatever reason, the system only looks at my CO OP number, even though my NWA Plat number is in the reservation, and does not put me in que for the upgrades.

Come to think of it, I guess it's not really a 5% ONEPASS issue, but then again, the only time I log in using my OP # is when using the discount code.

Thanks for the help!

Interesting? I think I have only received battlefield upgrades (rarely) in the past few months with this Chase card.

I can confirm that I have been EUA'd previously on flights that I purchased with the 5% discount, so I don't think that's a problem.

The 5% discount still does not work. It doesn't matter what dates, cities, or fares I pull up. Nada.

Thanks, Insider, for looking into this. The ESD said they turned in a report, but didn't act like they thought it was any big deal. Wanted me to book all my tickets, then call and have them 'fixed' them after the fact. I said NO, I just won't buy any tickets until its fixed. Sitting on the phone with them for 30-45 minutes is just not my idea of a good time or a good use of my time.

I spoke to a nice lady at .com, but she had not heard of the problem with the chase discount. I did try a few phantom
bookings with the same lack of success.

I hope it gets fixed - I have 9 reservations to make and don't want to go through calling on each one (which I did before). Sigh

And why oh why is it impossible to book Y with the 5% without calling Co support?

Not working on any domestic itineraries. Seems to work selectively on Intl. itineraries. EWR-EDI works, but not IAH-EDI, for instance.

WHEN IS SOMEBODY GOING TO FIX THIS????????????????

Still not working.

Trying IAH-NYC flights. It does mention the discount, but none of the fares are marked with the blue star.

Argh! Is this going to be fixed soon, or will I have to call? I hate calling to buy things...

Frustrating! Had to book 3 tix tonight - will wait to book the remaining until this is straightened out. The woman at co.com thought I was a total moron - told me how to book a tix; then told me my offer was expired (I've had the card four months). Sigh.

So I called back to do 2 more. The woman again asked me when I opened the account, then told me how to put the code on the front. I said I had done that and that there were issues with this. She said she couldn't help me because her systems were down. I asked if they had gone down within the past 5 minutes and she said she'd transfer me to another agent but I went back to her. She told me to just book it and she'd adjust it manually. I'm done for tonight.
