The aloft 4x promo was previously piggybacked to the quarterly promotion.
See my blog post here: http://blog.milemaven.com/2008/05/qu...all-aloft.html
Hopefully registration at this new minisite will be available until the end of year.

Yes, I will be in, of all places, Bentonville, Arkansas, five days before aloft opens there. Looks like I'll be trying out the Hyatt Place. Bummer.

Rancho Cocoamonger... mmm, chocolate. Wait, it's in the desert, right?

Never mind, I guess I'll plan a few Minneapolis mattress runs after the tap-dancing (ahem) Republicans trash the place.

Can you please elaborate what you mean by the aloft promo was piggybacked to the quarterly promo.

When I went to register for Aloft promo I got a message I was already registered. Was that because I had registered for the quarterly promo?

My wife was registered for the quarterly promo however was also able to register for the aloft promo.

Thanks.

Look at the confirmation email you received after registering for the quarterly promo. It might already include the aloft promotion. It also includes a link to the T & C ("Click here to view the terms and conditions for this offer"). Here's an example of one targeted offer - note that it also mentions the 4x aloft promo. Hope that helps!

Slightly off topic - does anyone konw of any alofts planned for the SF Bay Area? Nothing's listed on the website.

The Flyertalk list of aloft hotels notes that one is slated for Millbrae/SFO. In fact, this was one of the Starwood-owned sites promised in the very first press releases about aloft, along with Lexington, Tucson, Glendale (Colo.), and PHL. Of those, it looks like SFO and Tucson have disappeared, and Glendale has been pushed to 2010, long after many franchised properties have opened.

Thanks for the update. My mistake, I didn't read the confirming email.

ALoft Quadruple points

Does anyone know how long the bonus points take to post? My stay has posted but no bonus points. Concierge says, up to 3 months, which sounds like a long time.
