Swannie, my man - on this thread they know better than to ask ....
cos there aint none!!
There is none in the Biz lounge, I checked just after it opened - purely for research purposes. Not sure about the First Class area as I have not been there yet. Even the nice Spy wine was removed from Biz and is now only in First Class.
If you want champagne, you head down the BA lounge with a Gold Card.

my first chance to sample the *A lounge in T1 today - Very gloomy place, and not a particularly warm welcome -'you are entitled to use this lounge but the domestic gates are a long way away and you will have to go through security again'. Nothing daunted had some chilli con carne and a couple of glasses of wine The place does look very drab and I can't imagine why in a widowless room they picked such a boring colour scheme. The journey on to the BMI domestic lounge actually took about 10 minutes. The domestic DC lounge seems unchanged from the last time I used it 2 years ago. Fine as long as you don't want to eat anything except cheese. Overall T1 does look really tired compared with T5 and the Star and BMI lounges aren't a patch on the BA F lounge. I presume the *A lounge is a temporary one?

because it looks like a cheap temporary effort, and regarding the tired look -I remember reading the ads on the walls last year talking about a massive refurbishment - it's only a building and doesn't need to look tired just because it's old - even I redocorate my house once in a while!

I guess it will be "temporary" until Heathrow East finally emerges from the ashes of T2.
Of course, once the all-singing, all-dancing new BMI lounge opens, we will no longer need to loiter in the soon-to-be-inferior *A lounge

One has come to expect more from such a well travelled and long time member of the bmi board. Oh, no wait...
Ah, yes, newbie questions - we are good at those. The thermo-nuclear caesoids are only served on board - and mornings only. You can take up the dodgy lager comments with Boddingtons who will put you to rights.
Of course, IrnBru, is just Cream of Manchester blended with a cheese roll and a kilo of sugar!
