10 years ago today...
15 of us started initial reservations training.
6 weeks later, 13 of us graduated.
I was learning airport codes for places in Russia that we stopped flying to before I finished training.
We had one domestic airline partner (NW)
The fee to change a ticket was $35
To redeem an award, you called res and made the reservation. Then you called Mileage plan to have them issue your certificate. Then you took the certificate to the airport to have your paper ticket issued.
The computer I used at work had 32 Megabites of RAM
2 1/2 years later, working a graveyard shift, I found this Web site called Flyertalk.com
Today, there are 7 of us still with the company. 6 of us are going out for dinner tonight to celebrate

10 years is impressive! Congratulations on reaching that milestone. Do you get to pick a nice gift from a catalog?

Ten years, my that makes you really old^
Congrats for sticking it out, listening to all the whines and remaining very positive. I remember when MP gave 123 miles for PDX-SEA (or is that again in effect?). Really unhappy about the Mexican fee fix.

I cant recall what I was doing 10 years ago at this time. IIRC I was sitting in Guam on (QRF) Quick Reaction Force waiting to see if we were going to invade Pakistan to kill none other than BIn Laden.....not sure why we didnt But wow its amazing how the airline business has changed. What was the AS fleet 10 years ago?

10 years. Wow. Now, as the revered moderator of Dining Buzz (we know you aspire to high and lofty goals), you will have to tell us, moderately, how your celebratory dinner was
