30K Signup bonus MP Visa, non targeted
FYI Annual fee ($60) is not waived for the first year
30,000 bonus miles after approval and making $250 in qualifying transactions
Anyone think they will raise a saver domestic award to 30K next?

IMHO, I think for that price, I'd rather get the 45K mile card; 1st year free; 20K after $750, 20K after 1 year anniversary and $60 fee, and 5K bonus for adding a card member.

Upon closer inspection of the mailer, it is targeted and requires an invite code to be inputted via www.sendmethecard.com.

"Earn 30,000 bonus miles...
Spend $250 with a new Mileage Plus Visa card and earn more than enough miles for a Saver Award..."
This was in today's E-Fare email notification. It's the first time I've seen the bar at 30,000. I see good and bad in this: Could it be an indicator of another bar moving soon?

I am going to cancel all my MP cards so I can clear my history with Chase. After you are cardless for a year they will give you the signup bonus again. This is not written anywhere but my wife has tested it.

Some professional churners in FlyerTalk say it's six months for some cards. Worth giving it a try then, anyway...

Great info. If you don't mind my asking, how recently was this tested and how long was she a cardholder before canceling?

Yes I would agree with the post above as 6 - 12 months, not sure what the exact timeframe is. My wife and I bought had a dozen or so MP cards before they stopped the signup bonus for existing members. I feel safe about getting the bonus when I have had no MP card for a full year. What I would hate is to try at 7 months and not get it then my 12 month timer would start all over.

My question is regarding the "45,000 mile" offer listed earlier in this thread. My husband received one of these for the UMP BUSINESS Visa, and went to the site and applied for it recently. I was wondering where you heard about the 5,000 bonus points for adding someone to the card? Is there a code or something I can enter to get that?
Thanks so much for your help!

Going cardless wouldn't do me any good, since as a 1K I am getting the Platinum card without an annual fee, and that card gives me the chance to get up to 10K of non-BIS EQM a year, as well as its other benefits. (Do the other Chase MP Visa cards give 2 RDM for each $1 spend on united.com?) But my wife has been cardless for a year, so perhaps we would sign her up again for one of the 40K offers they send us fairly often.

30,000 miles on with new United Mileage Plus Visa
You get the 30k miles after spending $250 within 6 months. This is NOT the platinum visa that has a $140 annual fee. This card has a $60 annual fee but the first year is waived.

The fee is not waived for the first year, this has been posted several times in the last few months.
