Very recently, we have seen the total membership of FlyerTalk exceed 180k.
(~48hrs ago)
I'm not sure where all of the new people are going but I look forward to seeing (and hopefully adding value to) your questions or observations here.
It's a fun and almost always informative visit and I look forward to seeing more of you around here.

(Don't be too afraid to post a question... this is a big place, so explore and share your experiences. ^)

Wow, 180k!
I wonder of those, how many are active, or belong to unique users? I'm sure there are people whose accounts have only been suspended a couple dozen times, or have multiple accounts to reflect each dysfunctional personality
Regardless, its an impressive number. Congrats to FT!

Yes, 180K is impressive especially since I started noticing the size of the membership somewhere around 75K way back when. Being # 12159 to join sounds positively low when compared to 180K.

Yes it is pretty incredible, especially to those of us who were here back in the 90's.
I would be interested in how many of the 180,000 made posts? Or better yet, how many have made more than 100 posts?

Although I am not a frequent flyer, I really enjoy FlyerTalk. It has helped me to understand things that I was unaware of before. On my most recent trip, it was possible to use information learned here to help an older woman who was clueless about gate checking. On a different leg of the same trip, I was transferring in ICN to HKG, and was able to explain to another passenger what the word 'transit' on his boarding pass holder meant. After all the help and knowledge FlyerTalkers have given me, it felt good to be able to help others.
