[Offer Expired 28 Nov 2008] BA Miles Global 50% off Sale

Dear all

We are in the process of sending an email globally to all of our members to let you know that we have a fantastic sale on reward flights starting today - in fact it's our best ever!

There will be 50% off all return standard redemption bookings for 7 days only. Bookings need to be made by midnight GMT on 28 November.

Full terms and conditions will be sent with our email but here are some of the main conditions:

-Reductions on redemption fares across all cabins
-Available on BA Miles only (not Part Cash Part Miles or Miles for Upgrade)
-Book between 21-28th November 2008
-No travel period restrictions
-Pre-registration not required
-Offer on all routes on BA mainline scheduled services with a BA prefix, but
not on not on services operated wholly or partly by BA’s franchisees,
codeshare partners or oneworld™ alliance members.

Any queries or feedback please let me know.

Best regards

Nicci

Please note that this sale is not, in any way, connected to the fact that BA has just changed its reporting policy to include BA Miles seats when it repots to the City how many seats it sells each month.

Honestly.

No connection at all.

BA has no intention of artificially conning the City into thinking its seat loads are higher than they really are by flooding the market with BA Miles redemptions.

No way, not us guv.

Exactly - I want to lock a destination in at the Sale rate now for a flight next year - as I do not yet know my exact travel dates I will select any old date available and move it to my required dates at a later point in time -- is that OK / achievable ?

Unbelieveable - a week after booking my next 2 for 1: F out to HKG, J back.

How long does it normally take after cancelling a 2 for 1 booking for the voucher to be reactivated and the miles to recredit?
