New Plan - Pek-sha Express Flights To Operate From Both T2 & T3 At Beijing Airport

Urgent Update (March 20): New plan announced for Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao express flights at Beijing Capital International Airport - Air China and Shanghai Airlines, which will move to the brand-new Terminal 3 (T3), will operate their Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao express flights from T3 beginning March 26, while China Eastern, China Southern and Hainan Airlines will continue to operate their Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao express flights from Terminal 2 (T2) until further notice.

I think we can expect heaps confusion amongst the travelling public - I was being told that more than 300 people go to the wrong terminals at Beijing Capital International Airport everyday since the opening of Terminal 3.

This seemingly marks the end of the "Express" system as we know it. I guess I'll probably stick with CA/FM in the beginning because I'm sure T3 is a better place to spend time during delays. By my quick count, CA/FM and MU/CZ/HU offer almost the exact same number of flights (17-19) so there's no statistical advantage to one over the other (well, except for the fact that HU is more delay prone than its peers).

Exactly. I think I will stick with CA/FM for the time being as well, at least they have a new lounge in T3 (not that there is anything to write home about, but still way better than the dated ones in T2).

Do CA and FM use the same lounge in T3 PEK? Also, is the same lounge used for First and Business Class?
