I don't really have time to review all the recent ones so I picked two that do not seem to already be reviewed in this thread this year hoping it helps others! :)

Name of the hotel: Sofitel Philadelphia

What is your Le Club status?: Platinum

Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?: yes, generally very happy

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive ?:
Booked a junior suite and was upgraded to a one bedroom suite
Suites are quite tastefully decorated and reasonably large with a lots of windows on the side and a small corner window. The hotel faces other buildings (another hotel in fact!) so not very light but nice nonetheless. Nice bathroom with separate bathtub, shower, double sink, and toilet, and Hermes toiletries. Nespresso machine.

What was good and what was bad?:
Hotel was reactive to special requests (we were booking two rooms), the upgrade was nice, and breakfast (which was included in our rate) was a nice system where you choose any of the entrees with coffee or tea and juice. It was available through room service which was nice (though fees/etc payable)
The hotel is also very centrally located, with everything within walking distance including plenty of shopping and dining options, etc.

Bad:
Frankly not much. The only issue was a hotel wifi failure that lasted several hours, and for a while, staff did not believe me and assumed I did not know how to use it (which I had, successfully for 1 1/2 days!) so it took 3 calls till they passed me on to their wifi support line which confirmed that the issue was with the network at the hotel, and another 2 hours to solve it.
It was also strange that the concierge was rarely there and only limited hours. A bit of a shame.
Finally, a very small issue, but the first evening, I was tired from the long plane+plane+train trip and thought I'd indulge in a room service philly cheesesteak, and the sandwich was actually really poor. Dry bread, poorly seasoned, plasticky cheese. A shame on the local staple, and as a result, we did not eat at the hotel further which is a shame as it may have been very nice otherwise (breakfast perfectly fine).
Still, those were the only issues I experienced really and stay was generally great.

Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge?: NA

What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks :Drink voucher but only 1 per room which was a bit odd.

Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return?: yes, it's a very nice hotel, room pricing was fair compared to other hotels within the same category, and good treatment as Platinum member, which was much appreciated.
