Flight Map

Does AS inflight video allow me to view a flight map showing where we are at any given moment?

I think the alaskawifi site shows a picture where you are, right?

yep, it’s an approximation of present position

if you’ve paid for wifi/internet access, you can use FlightRadar24 or FlightAware to track real-time progress

(and you can also identify the jet that just zipped by you in the other direction 1000 ft above or below
🛫😎🕵🏻‍♂️)

I've seen that one before, but it has a rather simple display. The AS website (it's been accessible even using free wifi) has the FlightAware view on the Flight status page.

As AS uses flightaware for its flight tracking sites, it seems flightaware.com is whitelisted and is accessible inflight. Inflight i myself do prefer flightradar24.com when logged in. Easier to see other flights in-flight.

Yes, that's my impression as well, most lucidly from my recent SEA-SFO flight.
