Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked lead in King Classic on points, upgraded to Junior Balcony Suite

How are the rooms?
Decent size with lots of sockets and climate control was excellent. Bathrooms let down by a shower that has a door that is not sealed resulting in the floor flooding, becoming potentially dangerous. The drain also smelt, not something expected in a new hotel. The room, despite being new had a light fixture hanging from the ceiling and a wooden grate on the ceiling had been damaged with a wooden slat snapped.

How is the exec. lounge?

What was good and what was bad?
Good - Staff were friendly and the room was generally well furnished. Despite being on a busy road soundproofing was OK. A welcome gift of a bottle of Italian fizz was enjoyed. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable.


Bad - Breakfast was a little unorganised, only one part of the buffet was pointed out, the other part is in a separate room, what was included and what was in addition al a carte were blurred.


Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Can't really complain for 40000 points with lovely upgrade. Might be different if paying cash or using upwards of 100000 points per night.
