I found this live google doc on airliners.net for the Charleston, SC factory production line(s).. It shows 2 of the new 787-9's are assembled and awaiting final prep and a 3rd is undergoing final assembly. There are 8 more in the wings, so to speak, that could make their way on property by end of 2025. But it does appear the 3 that are assembled (lines 1191, 1198, 1201) are on target for delivery this year as previously reported by AA. The Google sheet appears to be updated regular as it shows 7/24/24 as first flight dates for several deliveries to other airlines.
