It would help if every member could take a moment to ensure they are posting in the correct thread. This one is meant to be only for listing valid booked mini-RTW itineraries and not questions about booking mini-RTW which belong in this thread:

Newer members who are just coming to find the whole topic are likewise encouraged to read and pose their questions in this thread:

JFK-NRT NH 77W (21 hour stop)
NRT-ICN OZ 333 (STOP)
ICN-HKT OZ 767 (STOP)
HKT-BKK TG 744
BKK-IST TK 343
IST-MAD TK 321 (STOP)
MAD-FRA LH 320
FRA-JFK LH 388

Aeroplan's website sucks fee: $30.00 CA
How do you get 3 stops in 1 trip? I can only go YYZ-SYD-FCO-YYZ, I guess I need to call in to book more stops? (Vancouver, New Zeland, Phuket, etc.)

Correct - anything beyond one stopover requires paying the $30+HST call center fee.

2 stops plus point of turnaround = 3 stops = max.

The point of transiting via BKK was to get full body massage + being able to fly in the evening from PEK instead of around 1pm with LH. I'm back from my short trip, just landed in PVG a couple of hours ago. Enjoyed LX F as always and was the only F-pax on ZRH-PVG

Less than a week before departure I managed to book my first miniRTW at the last minute!

YYZ-SFO AC E (To keep me grounded er somethin')
SFO-SYD UA F (STOP)
SYD-MEL-SYD on my own dime
SYD-BKK TG F
BKK-ZRH LX F
ZRH-TXL LX J (STOP)
TXL-MUC LH J (STOP)
MUC-BOS LH F
BOS-YYZ AC J

140,000 aeroscam points and $362 for my "free" ticket. Plus $35 fee so that I could be put on hold for an hour while the agent's computer "froze" and we had to start again. Thankfully my flights were all still there!

Nice. May I ask if it's in November? I've tried for hours on the phone to come back from Tokyo to either YYZ or YUL mid November... just curious.

.
No, it for Feb 2012. Used the ANA tool extensively to plan that trip.

Just booked 2 F awards for next year:

SFO-MUC LH F
MUC-GVA LH Y stop
GVA-ZRH LX Y
ZRH-BKK TG F 16 hour layover (spa and lounge, of course)
BKK-NRT TG F&C stop
NRT-SFO NH C

I think C for intra-Europe and F for BKK-NRT are likely to open up later on, for no extra charge.

With no NH F availability and not interested in UA F (I've tried it) I considered NRT-ICN OZ C, ICN-LAX OZ F, LAX-SFO UA but at 9 hours longer trip and two connections, I think I'm willing to go NH C.

Who knows, maybe the Business STAGGERED might be on the route by next year??

Taxes $164.40 + $30 booking fee and 120000 miles each.

Thanks to everyone on this board for your help!

Hello, this is my first post, but I have been reading Flyertalk off and on for about 5 years.

My itinerary for a trip in October (in J, except segments to/from YOW in Y):

YOW-IAD (UA)
IAD-NRT (NH) [stop]
NRT-HKG (NH)
HKG-SGN (UA) [point of turnaround]
SGN-BKK (TG)
BKK-IST (TK) [stop]
IST-FRA (LH)
FRA-EWR (LH)
EWR-YOW (UA)

Total: 100,000 miles + $102.87 taxes and fees + $30 booking fee

My overseas connections have 1 day stops (<24 hrs) in those cities.

I used the ANA reward tool (with no ANA points). It took about 15 minutes for the agent to book the flights, but due to hold time and computer issues, I was on the phone for 1.25 hrs.

Thanks to everyone on here for the helpful information they have posted for the mini-RTWs.
