Last year's girl was far hotter and the whole thing was much more fluid. What a waste of marketing $$$s...

1. It takes ages to load on a fast connection, on a slow connection look at wasting 30 minutes.
2. It might be cute (if you are 10 years old).
3. It has a irritating nature in that you are watching a long commercial that you want to be over soon and you continually have to answer inane cute questions.
4. It invites you to use your mobile device to answer for an extra chance to win but on the iphone at least (not an obsure mobile device) it generates a message in safari of using invalid characters. I would have thought it would have been tested on an iphone...
5. When you enter your Aeroplan number is gives an errror message if you enter in the same format as in Aeroplan emails, three groups of three digits with a space between each. The error message then doesn't tell you why its invalid wasting more of your time.
6. My wife got an invite, she is E, I an SE so far did not...
7. It doesn't accept airline codes such as YYC in fields for favorite airport and destination, so you have to spell it out.
8. Both of us did not win.
9. If it try it again it will be even more tedious...
Not a great attempt at making me feel like a valued customer....

Probably some marketing/PR company is now arguing hard that the campaign really works. The fact that people comment on FT etc is a sign that the campaign has the needed punch and penetration and blahdeeblah. Target groups and inflexion points and other hyper terminology.

In reality it's just a disaster. I wasted around 5 seconds on that link and that gave me ample time to conclude that I'd rather swin to Greenland than endure another 5 seconds of it.

AC, I'll be happy to call it quits if you continue like that.

They probably exceeded their monthly bandwith in the few hours it was up there. That or they do follow this board and where ashamed at what they had created and took it down. Either way I LOL at their marketing departement!

I just sat though this now. Quite long, IMHO. Would have been bearable if the graphics loaded faster (1 minute instead of 5?). I usually sit though commercials, but there was 5 minutes I can't get back.

Are there really prizes here or is all this "win one of 3000 prizes" only a big joke?

Seriously bad! After the first "Where shall these two go?" I thought hmmm, maybe AC doesn't fly to Hell, but it sure feels like it should!

Posted my discontent on FB - see Dorian did also. I cannot believe 30 people gave it a ^! Maybe that was before the ventured onto Part 1 of 8!

Is this video a demonstration of how to properly use the high-speed moving walkway at YYZ?
