Rights on AC for cancellation?
My sister is currently in LAS due to fly via YYZ to LHR on ROU1852.
however, the flight has been cancelled from LAS to YYZ.
they are en route to the airport, but what should they be requesting/entitled to?

I'm pretty sure that the airline will book them on another *A airline. Does UA get them there to YYZ? They might have to rebook everything depending on schedules...
Did they have the On My Way travel insurance thing?
*PS this is my best guess as I have not been in this situation myself, simply recalling stuff I learned in the past on FT on other threads.

Programs: It's hard to get status when the website won't let me book flights.

As long as they follow the connection signs and don't do the regular customs, they will have at least 40 minutes to spare.
If they go through the regular customs they (probably) won't make it.

Follow overhead signs to E gates.
Have all documentation in hand ready for presentation.
Continue to follow overhead signs.
Take the escalator down to Level 2 and proceed to

My experience has been that agents can give you pretty much any other air canada flight if you have a cancelled flight indicated on your record locator. Any combination you want las- yul, Yyz or Yvr that has any economy seat then change to one of the lhr flights will be fine.
