Dear AC why can't you publish the concierge # anywhere?
I just had a concierge explain that the reason their phone number is no longer published is so that expiring members (status, not the members--the dead don't need a concierge) don't have it after they lose status.
Punishing your good customers to spite the old ones. That is so nice.
The number is now not on:
- the altitude website
- the physical SE card
- the app generated virtual card
I would love to be proven wrong but I don't believe the concierge number is published anywhere anymore.
Oh yeah and if you call the altitude SE desk and ask for it they will hang up on you. Rather than verify you are a SE (which they know because you have to enter your AE number).
Now that's what I call customer service.
Dont call us and we won't call you.
And as as an added bonus in the communication fail folder: AC no longer sends texts or emails for flight delays. Maybe their system broke under heavier than anticipated load due to an OTP of 3%. But nevertheless it is busted.

I have a week to wait until I get back to SE100K so I can't check right now, but I know prior to Feb 28th, the toll free concierge number was under priority contacts once logged into the altitude website. Is it not anymore?

The number is still on the Concierge number card that SEs get as part of their package... always has been at the very least. So isn't that defined as "published"? I must be missing something.

Ok, you made me look.
On my Altitude page, I see "AIR CANADA CONCIERGE DESK" and a number.
On the back of my plastic card, I see the same number
However, on the back of the iOS digital card, no Concierge numbers - but hey the AC Central Baggage Office numbers are listed.
Hmmmmm

So it's published on two things...

I just checked - it is there under priority contacts. Should also point out that 2017 SE package included a separate card which includes all of the concierge contact numbers and e-mail. IMO Any well prepared SE should have these contact numbers programmed into their phone as well. To say this isn't published anywhere just isn't true.

it it is not on my plastic membership card. At least not the one both I and the concierge looked at.
It it is not on my virtual card.
And the number on the altitude site is the wrong one. Oops. Which means those of you who have a number on their card will likely not have a working number for very long. Or maybe the concierge herself doesn't have the right numbers.
And yes that # is now in my phone.
I would also also point out that one of the SE desk numbers on the website hasn't worked for me for years.
