Diverted flight and Aeroplan posting of partner flights

Flew with LH 2 weeks ago BCN-FRA on a Z class fare, tickets booked on 014 stock along with 2 AC flights. Received my miles for both AC flights, but nothing for the LH flight.

Flight was diverted from FRA to NUE due to bad weather and lighting strike on the plane.

Tried to claim missing miles from the AE website, got an answer that the demand wasnt approved by Partner.

Does that mean that:
1- this is still pending and it simply wasnt an automatic approval?
2- LH is refusing to credit miles (is this due to diversion?)

What can I/should I do?

Probably neither. My guess is, the diversion messed the system up.

Not sure what to say. In a similar situation, I sent an e-mail to the SE e-mail address. Waiting for an answer within five days. If one does not have status, I suppose the one thing one can do is phoning, waiting etc. and talking to an agent who will end up saying that yes you should get the miles but no there is nothing he can do.

Small claims court for those not faint of heart and with too much time on their hands.

Better add money to your list. Court would most likely be in Germany. A lot of effort for 600 to 700 points.

Who care? It's only money?

Wouldn't it be fun to have one of their planes seized though? :-)

Are you sure?

Also, if the flights were diverted and OP has the 014 ticket and BPs, why would they not receive the miles flown?

Don't have any status, so no SE concierge to contact.

Instead of calling AE and wait for a long time to argue with them and no result, I tried to credit it online to my miles and more account, and got the points instantly. I will probably lose them in 2 years time when they expire, but at least I got them for the moment (and it's 1250pts for such booking class intra europe flights with M&M)

Indeed that should always be the first step. Somehow I assumed you had tried and been denied, as it happened to me.
