Involuntary Schedule Changes Questions
Hi everyone
Flying YVR - YQB in May. The itinerary has been changed several times in the last week or two. It is a bit of a moving target. I have a few questions:
1. The latest change has me getting into YQB about 5 mins earlier but I now go through YYZ on AC34 instead of YUL on AC300. I want to minimize my time on a DH4 so can I ask them to put me back on AC300 without incurring a change fee?
2. I had paid for Premium Economy seat (sorry Preferred Seat) on AC 300 and now they have me in regular Y on AC 34 and processed a credit for the seat fee. Can I also ask them to put me back in a Preferred Seat, why didnt they just put me in a Preferred Seat again? I know this one will not be free
Why so many changes? Is early May the transition to the Summer timetable?
